PIRATE NATION

My name is Melissa Reyes.  I am the Girls’ Athletic Coordinator, head softball coach, assistant girls basketball coach, middle school volleyball coach, and secondary physical education teacher. This year marks my 24th year proudly serving Rockport-Fulton ISD.  There is absolutely no district like our RFISD!  My passion lies in coaching and teaching, where I find my joy in helping our students grow both on and off the field.   I also take immense pride in seeing them grow into successful individuals who thrive in the real world, 

My pride and joy is my daughter, Mikayla, a 2020 graduate of RFHS who is now entering her junior year at Texas State University—Eat 'em up, Cats! 

In my free time, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, going to the movies, attending comedy shows and plays, engaging in various outdoor activities and traveling.  I have recently taken up pickleball and I’m having a blast learning the game!
