About Me
Hello! My name is John Garcia and this is my second year of teaching Maritime Science at RFHS. I retired from the US Coast Guard after 20 years of honorable service. I spent my first 18 years honing my skills as a Machinery Technician and then became specialized as a Naval Engineer Warrant Officer. Throughout my career I was heavily involved with vessel operations, Search and Rescue, and Maritime Law Enforcement. I am looking forward to another great year at RFHS!
