My name is Amy Booth and I am very excited to be your student's Algebra or Geometry teacher this year! This is my 20th year in education. I have taught middle school and high school throughout the years in several districts and am excited to be starting my fourth year teaching in RFISD. I am a proud graduate of Texas A&M University where I met my husband of 35 years. We have 4 grown children: a daughter who lives with her husband in Washington, DC, a daughter who lives in Dallas, a son who lives in Arizona with his wife and will be soon moving to Utah, and a daughter who lives in Ft. Worth. I remember the days of raising the kids (the different moods, personalities, phases, motivations, gifts, talents, struggles) and how much I appreciated their teachers. I want every student to be successful and look forward to partnering with you in ensuring their success in math this year!
When I am not in school, I love to be home. We are dog people and have 6 dogs that we train and that keep us busy. I also will be a grandma for the first time in December and I am beyond excited for that new phase of life! I also enjoy exercising, baking and cooking, reading, yardwork, and visiting new places.
If there is ever anything that I can do for you and your student, please reach out and let me know!
