Hello Pirate Family!!!

My name is Felicia Ramirez, and I am excited to begin my first year at Rockport-Fulton High School! I am thrilled to be part of the Pirate Team and look forward to becoming part of the Rockport-Fulton community.

This year marks my 17th year in education as a teacher and coach. I graduated from Texas A&M University–Kingsville, where I earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Kinesiology with a minor in Mathematics. While pursuing my degree, I was also a proud member of the Javelina Women’s Basketball Team for four years.

At Rockport-Fulton High School, I will be teaching Lifetime Fitness and Wellness and coaching Girls’ Basketball. I am passionate about helping students develop healthy habits, build confidence, work as a team, and understand the importance of discipline, perseverance, and hard work.

On a personal note, I have been married to my wonderful husband for 15 years, and we have four beautiful children, who will all be attending Rockport-Fulton ISD. We are excited to make Rockport-Fulton our home and become part of the Pirate family together!

When I am not at school or on the basketball court, I enjoy spending time with my family, working out, and, most recently, spending a lot of time taking my kiddos to all of their practices all over the place! As a family, we are excited for this new chapter and all the memories we will make along the way.

I am incredibly excited about the opportunity to work with the students and athletes at RFHS and to help build a strong tradition within Lady Pirate Athletics. I can't wait to get started and make this an amazing year!
