About Me

Howdy, Rockport!

I am so excited to be your Spanish teacher this year. Born and raised with deep South Texas roots, I am a proud Rockport-Fulton High School Pirate and a Texas A&M University graduate. My passion for teaching Spanish comes from a deep appreciation of our state's history and culture, where the Spanish language and Hispanic heritage is vastly evident. 

When I am not in the classroom, you will often find me exploring the Lone Star State on day trips and road trips, always keeping an eye out for Texas Historical Markers to learn something new. I also love traveling across the country and have visited 10 U.S. states so far! In my free time, I am an avid sports fan who enjoys reading about history, keeping up with the Houston Astros, and catching Texas A&M Football games. I look forward to bringing that same passion, curiosity, and energy into the classroom to help students thrive this school year.
