Greetings Pirate Families!

 

I want to welcome everyone back for the upcoming 2024-2025 school year. I  am Patty Kenjura and I have worked 18 years in education,13 of those years as a school counselor. I’ve had the privilege of serving the students and families of RFHS as a school counselor for 7 years. Currently, I’m the RFISD Lead Counselor and a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) for the district. Last year, I embraced a new role as the school-based therapist for our students. I'm excited to continue supporting our students, families, and staff. RFISD provides free school-based therapy to our students during the school day. A guiding principle in my work is: "All behavior has meaning... and our kids' behavior is telling us they need something better, different, or more."
