About Me

This is my 16th year teaching for RFISD.  I started at the middle school teaching 7th and 8th grade English.  I moved up to the high school 9 years ago to teach English I, English II, and English III-AP.  I am currently teaching English I and II.  I am a graduate of Weber State University in Ogden, Utah.  Although I graduated college out of state, I am a native to South Texas and a graduate of Calallen High School.

 

As an avid reader, I can't imagine teaching anything other than English.  One of the greatest achievements as a teacher is to teach a student the love of reading.  There is a just-right book for every student!
