Pirate P-TECH Academy

Pathways in Technology Early College High Schools (P-TECH) are innovative open-enrollment high schools that allow students who might not otherwise have these opportunities to attend college and receive both a high school diploma and a credential and/or an associate degree. The hallmark of the P-TECH model is its career focus and the provision of work-based education.

Rockport-Fulton ISD is proud to announce Year One of the Pirate P-TECH Academy, beginning with our first cohort of students in Welding and Nursing Science. Through a partnership with Del Mar College, students have the opportunity to earn Industry-Based Certifications and Level 1 Certifications in Welding, preparing them for high-demand careers right out of high school.

Our industry partners, Kiewit for Welding and Rockport Nursing and Rehabilitation Center for Nursing Science, provide valuable real-world experiences and mentorship that connect classroom learning to future career success.
